Delete Apps on Android
Android is a mobile operating system which is developed and released by Google. Android has been the best-selling OS worldwide on smartphones, you can find Andoird on Samsung, Xiaomi, OPPO, LG… Users can download any apps from Google Play store, from any category such as games, books, music.
This article will show you the shortest way to delete installed apps on Android devices.
Notes: In some phone brand, the core apps such as Gmail, Google, Chrome, Google Movie… can't be uninstalled by default. These apps can only be disabled, but some preinstalled apps may affect other apps after being disabled.
- Find the app you need to deleted. If it isn't on the home screen, it can be found in all apps.
- Long-press an app icon you need to delete without lifting your finger until you see "Uninstall" box appear.
- Tap "Uninstall".
- Tap "OK" when you see the confirmation dialog "Do you want to uninstall this app". The app will be uninstalled shortly.
There are another ways to delete apps on Android. You can go to "Settings" > "Apps" > "Apps" > "App info". There you will find an "UNINSTALL" button, tap on the button, and confirm to delete app from your Android device.
